Colleges for Engineering (B.Tech)
B.Tech or Bachelor of Technology is a 4-year undergraduate degree in engineering which is one of the most chosen course to pursue further studies after 10+2 in India. Engineering offer a variety of fields to choose from like Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering are among the most common B.Tech courses taken up by students. A large field of opportunities makes Engineering one of the top course in India, the only eligibility an aspirant need is that he/she should have studied Physics,Chemistry and Maths as the main subjects in 10+2. Since B.Tech is a specialized degree, students are required to take entrance examinations for it. However, some have their own entrance exams. Most notable Institutes which award specialized degree in B.Tech are the IITs(Indian Institute of Technolog) and NITs(National Institute of Technology) in India producing the best Engineers in the country and producing some record placements but not other universities not fading behind the charm of IITs and NITs have also produced some great results throughout the country. It's best to check well in advance, whether the institute of your choice has its own entrance exam. An important factor driving this popularity is the job market, which readily accepts B.Tech graduates.
