College for B.A,Bachelor of Arts
B.A or Bachelor of Arts is a 3 year undergraduate program. This degree is wide-ranging and variants can be found in every state. The course can be done either full time or part time depending upon candidate's choice. The Delhi University offers both the BA (Pass) course as well as the BA (Honours) course, the Bombay University makes no such distinction. It consist of minimum 5 different subjects . Some colleges also offer the students to choose their Minor and major subjects. Apart from the two distinct languages, students also learn about the basics of anthropology, History, Literature, Political science, Philosophy etc. Candidates those who have cleared 10+2 from a recognised board are eligible for this course. At the end of three years, students completing a BA are in a good position to know what they can specialize in, and accordingly opt for Master courses. Mostly master courses in arts do not require work experience. However, students should always try and take up internships in relevant industries to gauge their skills.B.A degree offers job opportunities in many field ranging from Public to Private sector. Content writing portals, social service organizations, sales and marketing firms often accept students completing a BA, for jobs as well as part-time assignments.
