Colleges for Chemical
Chemical engineering or Compound engineering is the new studies of modern engineering chiefly deals with physical science, life science, mathematics & economics to transform raw materials into more useful product. It is an astute discipline that encompasses within basic science subjects. In this subject, engineering or making something new out of disposed compound materials is always a challenge. Two broad groups as hierarchy constitutes this subject base. They are 1) design, manufacture, and operation of plants and machinery in industrial chemical process system &2) development of new or adapted substances to develop new products ranging from foods and beverages. These two groups have been categorized as chemical process engineers & chemical products engineers. Chemical engineering is termed as also Economic Engineering since through this process utilization of unknown products gives proper shape to new converted products. This engineering subject is different from other engineering disciplines & thus it involves the practical application of several principles. All these principles are either adopted from physical science or life science to confer upon itself as an Economic Engineering.
This subject has huge demand in our country since our industrial economy run by coal. Several government universities like University of Hyderabad, Lucknow University in UP, Delhi University, WBUT offer this subject with industrial training program. One can pursue his/her M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IITs across the country. Valid JEE or AIEEE or IIT entrance results are compulsory to felicitate admission process into these reputed institutions.
Chemical Engineering is the design and maintenance of chemical plants and the development of chemical processes for converting raw materials or chemicals into valuable forms including those used to remove chemicals from waste materials, to enable largescale manufacture. It combines knowledge of Chemistry and
